Ideas for Blogging on Ada Lovelace Day

This is a list of sources from all over the web. It’s intended as a source of ideas for people trying to decide who to blog about for Ada Lovelace Day (March 24th) to fulfill their Finding Ada pledge.

I put together this list when creating my iPhone app, Secret Ada, which profiles inspiring women in science and technology in a fun word puzzle format. If you have an iPhone, check it out! And keep in mind participants in the Finding Ada pledge can get Secret Ada free this week by following the steps at the Finding Ada blog offers page.

These sources are in no particular order. Please feel free to add suggestions in the comments, or send them to @panopy on Twitter – this list is focused on sources with more than one name, but add individual names too, if you like.

Updates! I’m adding a raft of entries (at the top) sent by BJ Wishinsky at the Anita Borg Institute (@anitaborg_org). Thanks BJ! Update 2: Just added a great new resource from Tim Kastelle (@Timkastelle).
